Watec has been a leading manufacturer of compact, lightweight CCD cameras for use in surveillance, image processing and FA systems for almost 20 years. Our customers have consistently evaluated our cameras to be of the highest quality and reliability, with the result that Watec now has markets in over 60 countries world wide.
    Watec has become the leader in miniaturization, currently producing the smallest CCD cameras in the industry. Our design philosophy and development has been driven by our goal for versatile usage and installation ease. Through our own research and development of hybrid integrated circuitry, Watec continues to shrink CCD cameras while retaining quality and resolution.


Global Sales
Watec CCD cameras are favorably used in markets around the world to say nothing of our own home market. Our customers are not only private undertakings, but also governmental and district organizations, and our market has now extended from general security and surveillance to medical usage and industrial applications which require image processing. The application and usage of Watec cameras are growing by the day. Watec cameras which are of high quality with technical reliability are, for instance, used in outer space, in subtropical areas, dry and cold regions around the world and even in various modes of transport such as elevators, buses, ships and trains.


WQS-Watec Quality-control System
Watec has established and is now fulfilling its own standard of quality control, WQS (Watec Quality-control System) in order to maintain a high quality and stable Watec product. Watec products are handled using our piece by piece assembly process in addition to efficient management, from the time of receiving materials and parts to the shipment of products from our factory premises.
    Watec products are assembled in a clean room and must pass quality inspections including a long-period aging test, in addition to the strict inspection guidelines for each production process. Only after these inspections, a camera is then acknowledged as a Watec product for our customers
